Welcome to Story Made. Story Made is operated by CyberWave Technologies LLC (Sacramento, CA, USA). By using the app you agree to these simple terms with CyberWave Technologies LLC.
For families
Story Made is intended to be used by children together with, or with the permission of, a parent or guardian. The grown-ups area, settings and any external links are for adults.
Your creations
Characters you create and story artwork/narration generated for your family are yours to enjoy personally. The Story Made stories, art direction, name and logo remain ours and may not be resold or redistributed.
Family likenesses & acceptable use
When you describe real people (or start a character from a photo), you confirm that they are members of your own family or household and that you have their permission — for children, the permission of their parent or guardian, which you give as that parent or guardian. Don't create characters from celebrities, public figures, or people (or other people's children) who haven't agreed. You give us a narrow license to process the names, traits, and photos you provide solely to create your family's stories, portraits, and narration — nothing else. Never use Story Made to create content that is sexual, deceptive, harassing, or harmful, or that misrepresents a real person; we may suspend access for attempts to do so. You are responsible for, and agree to indemnify us against, claims arising from inputs you did not have the right to provide.
Subscriptions & purchases
In the iOS app, every family reads one storybook free. StoryMade Premium unlocks the whole library as an auto-renewable subscription (US$6.99 per month or US$59.99 per year; local prices are shown in the App Store before you buy). Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings. Single storybooks (US$2.99) are one-time purchases that unlock that book on the device where it was bought. Purchases are processed and refunded by Apple under its terms; we do not see your payment details. The web version of Story Made has no purchases.
Generated content
Illustrations and narration are generated by AI and are curated for warmth and safety, but generation can occasionally be imperfect. If anything ever looks or sounds wrong, re-generate the page or contact us and we will fix it.
No warranties; limitation
The app is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app grows. The effective date above always reflects the current version, and meaningful changes will be noted on this page. Continuing to use Story Made after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Ending use
You can stop using Story Made at any time — the “Delete all saved data” control on the home page removes everything the app stored on your device. We may suspend access for abuse of the app or its generation services.
Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before bringing any claim, please email us and give us 30 days to resolve it informally. Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights under your local law.
Severability
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the app.
